A Rare Case of Nasal Calculus

Ditta, aged about 35, a Mahomedan male, weaver by occupation and native of Moregah, a village a few miles distant from Itawul Tindee, applied to me as an out-patient on the 16th June, 1872, at 11 a.m., "with the right nostril considerably distended and accompanied by profuse hajmorrhage. He informed me that he is suffering much from the presence of a stone in the affected nostril, and gave the following statement of his case : It is now more than eleven years since he noticed a slight difficulty in breathing through the right nostril, and a sense of something sticking thereabout, with occasional fits of sneezing and bleeding ; that all the aforesaid symptoms' followed the subsidence of swelling of the lachrymal sac, as well as the entire cessation of an abundant watering at the right eye, to which he had been subject for some time previously.
